POST-Feminism: Kind regards from Villach!

show.Rooms has launched the Biographical Fempath format to focus on historical omissions and current representations of women*.

FEMINIST GREETINGS from four historical women from Villach made their way to every household in Villach for the Biographical Fempath 4 VIA POST to make these personalities visible and introduce them. The cards also contained QR codes, containing animated videos about the individuals. In addition, the cards were presented on a large scale as an INTERVENTION in public spaces. Furthermore, 4 SALONS offered the opportunity to connect the demands of the women of that time with personal biographical questions of today. The topics and questions were:

SALON DORA KIRCHER: Du und das Fleisch? | You and the meat?

SALON MATHILDE MARTENS: Wofür verein-en wir uns? | What are we uniting for?

SALON MARIA BAUERNSCHMIDT: Wem gehört dein Name? | Who owns your name?

SALON MARIE LEOPOLD: Wer leitet? | Who is leading?

The Biographical Fempath 4 also included a lecture by Hildegard Kernmayer, University of Graz, on posthuman feminism and the opportunity to talk to regional artists and politicians about feminism and posthuman feminism.
