Residency: Queer-feminist Lines

“Queer-feminist Lines” is a relational art project by Elisa Vladilo,
based on the project “Rhyme of Origin” and open to people from different cultures living in the same place
to participate. The project has already been implemented several times in different countries, both in public spaces and in art spaces. On the occasion of Women's Day on March 8, 2026, the project will be realized in Villach with a queer-feminist focus.

Salon: Participation

Since last year, schau.Räume salons have been providing opportunities to gain insights and establish a basis for discussion on relevant schau.Räume concepts. The salon on April 18, 2026 7 pm. invites participants to discuss how participation—as a shared practice, as a negotiation process, as shared responsibility—can be understood. Moderated by Carla Küffner, we invite you to join the dialogue. Her guest will be Vanessa Milić from the Migration Platform. She will talk about her experiences, approaches, and projects. As always, there will also be a participatory artistic moment as part of the salon, which will expand on the current schau.Räume installation “Queer-feminist Lines."

Storytelling

show.Rooms offers biographical workshops in the run-up to show.Rooms performances.

Giving space to biographies and excerpts from life stories opens up a space for sharing and reconstructing. By recounting our experiences, we learn more about ourselves; by focusing on omissions, alternative perspectives on our own history can be adopted and uncovered. In addition, connections can also be drawn in relation to a shared - yet untold - story.

show.rooms organizes biographical workshops thematically related to the current show.rooms productions.

Tuesday, 17 March 18-20 on “Influence of Lines” at schau.Räume, Draupromenade 6.
