show.Rooms_global was dedicated to a global dialogue on feminism and was realized in Tirgu Mures and Villach.

In 2014, show.Rooms_global took place in Romania and Austria. The guide, Ildiko Kovac, established the connection to the city of Tirgu Mures. As she lives and works in both Villach and Tirgu Mures, she was chosen as a guide for this project. Ildiko suggested association Zauberberg (Ágnes Sántha and Imola Kovac) as a cooperation partner for the project, who chose the topic of feminism. "Feminism has a hundred-year history in Europe, yet it has not managed to take root in our country (Romania) so far. Why? Do we even need feminism? Together, we seek answers to these questions; through an interactive presentation, women's life stories are shown, highlighted, and discussed." (Statement Association Zauberberg)
As a result, they organized a one-week program as an intervention in a vacant building in Tîrgu Mureş, Predeal Str. No. 5, which included exhibitions, lectures, workshops and a documentary film entitled "Why Feminism?".
The show.Rooms team was present on site during the event week and expanded the program with a biography workshop and documented the event.

After this series of events, the project was invited to Austria.

show.Rooms_global is an intervention in a vacancy on a marginalized topic, which is set by artists and researchers. Following a realization abroad the project is invited to be realized in Austria. A more detailed explanation of the format can be found here.
