show.Rooms_local

show.Rooms_local is a one-time performance in a vacant space or an intervention in public space.
Based on biographical narratives, show.Rooms creates the series that incorporate people's personal experiences as stations in public space. In this project, the people who take center stage, the so-called guides of each individual "biographical art path," become narrators of their own stories and provide insight into stories of the city that are otherwise inaccessible to the general public. In this way, stories, experiences and people associated with the city, who are otherwise hardly noticed by the public, become present. By linking people's life experiences to the city's past and current development, possibilities for alternative ways of looking at a city's historiography are made visible. The preparation of such interventions includes biography workshops by show.Rooms for the guides. In the workshops, biography and memory work are brought together to identify a focus topic for the intervention.
