show.Rooms_global: Rassism

4. - 9. 12. 2017 Villach, AT

The production EL QUE NO TIENE DE INGA, TIENE DE MANDINGA, which was developed and realized in Peru, was initiated by show.Rooms and was shown in a vacant house in Villach. The audience walked from room to room, experiencing dance, installation and micro theater on the subject of racism. In addition, workshops, a lecture and discussions with regional guests also inspired dialogues on discrimination in Austria. The focus was on discrimination in the context of gender issues, minorities and migration issues. Above all, the intervention aimed at the creation of a transcultural space, as it initiated and enhanced global dialogue on the topic of racism.
