show.Rooms is legally constituted as an association, whose aim is to raise awareness about marginalized topics and to set constructive impulses for inclusive social development through interventions in public disused space and abandoned buildings. 

To meet these objectives, the association brings together artists, research scholars and institutions of the civil society to realize interdisciplinary performances. The latter all adhere to the show.Rooms format, which was specifically designed for this purpose.

In selected instances the association and the format enable artistic research activities, whose results flow back into the further development of show.Rooms.
